HBO Max Unveils Trailer for 'Lanterns'

The upcoming series "Lanterns" is set to premiere in the United States on August 16, 2026, on HBO and HBO Max, with its German debut following a day later on August 17, 2026, via HBO Max. Ahead of its release, an English-language trailer has been revealed, which viewers can check out below.

The narrative of "Lanterns" revolves around Hal Jordan, portrayed by Kyle Chandler, and John Stewart, played by Aaron Pierre. The story follows John, a new recruit who partners with the legendary Lantern Hal Jordan to investigate a murder in the heart of America. While the series will delve into the lore of the Green Lanterns, known as the universe's guardians, further plot details remain under wraps.
