Lush's Colorful Easter 2021 Collection: A Delight for All Ages

This year, Lush has unveiled its vibrant Easter 2021 collection, designed to bring joy to both children and adults alike. While kids hunt for chocolate eggs in the garden, parents can indulge in their own treasure hunt within the bathroom. Though these aren't chocolate treats, they promise a well-deserved moment of relaxation.
Lush's latest offering is notably more extensive than last year's selection, much to the delight of fans. The collection features classic egg shapes as well as a bath bomb shaped like sunny-side-up eggs and the character Humpty Dumpty, ensuring there's something for everyone’s taste.
The products are not only appealing to adults but also designed to capture the attention of children, particularly the animal-shaped product holders. Personally, I couldn't resist purchasing the entire range of bath products, as most of them are new additions.

Golden Egg – A Soothing Golden Bath –
“This Easter egg deserves a gold medal! Pamper your skin with this soft and nourishing product rich in fair trade organic cocoa butter, combined with bergamot essential oil, almond oil, and sparkling golden powder.”
The beloved Golden Egg bath bomb has received a makeover this year. While it remains coated in golden glitter, it surprises users with a pink hue as it dissolves. Its only downside is the glitter, which tends to stick to fingers during use. However, its nourishing properties due to cocoa butter make it a popular choice.

Singing Daffodil – Your Own Floral Bubbles –
“This daffodil joins you in the bathtub to celebrate spring! Blow into the central circle to create scented bubbles infused with ylang-ylang and tagetes essential oils.”
In 2020, Lush introduced a bubble bar shaped like a hand spinner, and in 2021, each seasonal collection features its own bubble-blowing bar. Its playful design allows users to blow bubbles while enjoying a bubbly bath. However, holding it in hand can be less practical than if it had a stick. Nonetheless, its cheerful yellow color and floral scent brighten up any evening. As a reusable bubble bar, simply let it dry on a soap dish for future use.

Follow The White Rabbit – A Lemon Rainbow –

Fans of Lush will appreciate the visual appeal of this rainbow bath bomb, reminiscent of the snowman from the Christmas collection, now reimagined as a rabbit for Easter. Its dissolution reveals a gentle rainbow that culminates in a lilac bath. Though the citrus scent is subtle, it is still enjoyable.

Eggy Wegg – Vegan Mint Egg –
“This Easter egg bath bomb releases vegan sunny-side-up eggs into a bright pink bath. All you need to do is relax!”
Don't be fooled by the adorable sunny-side-up egg design; this bath bomb is a visual treat. I was captivated by the vibrant display of pink, yellow, and white, culminating in a coral bath with a citrus scent and a hint of mint to uplift your spirits.

Flamingo Egg – A Fruity Bath Candy –
“For a perfect planet, no plastic in our glitter! This vegan effervescent Easter egg hatches in your bathtub, releasing a fruity scent, skin-softening salts, and a stunning purple color.”
This remarkable egg, embedded with crystals, transports you to a distant galaxy with its fruity aroma and ends in a midnight blue bath. I loved the contrast between the two sides of the egg during its dissolution.

Humpty Dumpty – Honey Scent… Without the Honey! –
“Humpty Dumpty is just waiting to dive into your bathtub to release a delicious vegan fragrance reminiscent of sweet honey.”
This collection features several nods to Alice in Wonderland, including this egg-shaped character. Unlike other egg-shaped bath bombs, you can break it against the tub's edge to discover another egg-shaped bath bomb inside, allowing for three different baths.
As usual, I combined everything into one bath to enjoy the beautiful spectacle, culminating in an opaque and milky green bath with a sweet, caramelized honey scent.

The Owl and The Pussycat – Two Companions with a Candy Scent –
“A trio of bath bombs in one! The cat and the owl embark on your bathtub on their beautiful green boat with a candy scent.”
This unique addition to the Easter collection features a boat with a cat and an owl. You can use each piece separately for three baths.
I chose to enjoy this boat in its entirety, which released a wave of spring colors and a delightful vanilla-strawberry scent. This bath bomb took the longest to dissolve, allowing for a prolonged experience that ended in a green bath.

- My Opinion:
Once again, Lush has impressed me with a beautiful collection that surprises in all the right ways. It’s clear that the brand aimed to delight children with playful products that will light up their eyes. Additionally, I appreciate when the brand offers "3-in-1" bath bombs, as they always provide delightful surprises.
