Gillian Anderson's 'Trespasses' Trailer and Premiere Date Announced by PBS

Gillian Anderson is set to star in the upcoming four-part miniseries "Trespasses," which will premiere on PBS on September 20, 2026. The series initially debuted on Channel 4 on November 9, 2025, and the trailer has been released for viewers to enjoy.

Set against the backdrop of Belfast in 1975, the narrative centers around Gina, portrayed by Anderson, a mother grappling with alcoholism. Her daughter, Cushla Lavery, played by Lola Petticrew, takes on the role of caregiver. However, their relationship faces turmoil as the civil conflict intensifies, compounded by Cushla's involvement in a perilous romance with the older Michael, portrayed by Tom Cullen.

The miniseries draws inspiration from Louise Kennedy's debut novel of the same name, which was published in Germany in August 2023 under the title "Übertretung."

Ailbhe Keogan is responsible for the adaptation's scripts, and Anderson will also serve as an executive producer for the series.
