Harvey Keitel and Jennifer Jason Leigh Depart the Set Initially, Harvey Keitel was cast to play the role of Victor Ziegler but was later replaced by Sydney Pollack. Kubrick also aimed to reshoot certain scenes with Jennifer Jason Leigh, who portrayed Marion. Unfortunately, due to her commitment to David Cronenberg's eXistenZ, she could not return to London, leading to Marie Richardson stepping in as her replacement.
