Stana Katic and Connie Nielsen Join Apple's Monsterverse Series
Stana Katic and Connie Nielsen are set to join the cast of Apple's upcoming Monsterverse series, a prequel to 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters'.
"Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" is set to receive a prequel, expanding Apple's Monsterverse. Joby Harold has been working on a yet-to-be-titled series, with Wyatt Russell taking the lead role. According to Deadline, Stana Katic and Connie Nielsen are also joining the cast.
The Legendary Monsterverse is being further developed with this upcoming series that focuses on the character of young Lee Shaw. This spin-off will narrate the story of an American agent who undertook a secret mission in 1984 behind enemy lines to prevent the Soviets from unleashing a terrifying new Titan capable of destroying the United States and altering the course of the Cold War.
The specific roles that Katic and Nielsen will portray have not yet been disclosed. They will join a cast that includes Millie Brady, Pilou Asbæk, Corey Stoll, Ralph Ineson, and Nyasha Hatendi.
