In a rare occurrence, a superhero film has debuted to a largely indifferent audience, with even recent Marvel releases faring better. Despite attracting 254,000 viewers, Supergirl only managed to secure a fifth-place opening, a disappointing result for the genre.

La Bataille de Gaulle has seen its first part surpass 1,645,000 spectators, while J'écris ton nom has accumulated 813,000 viewers. Though not stellar given its budget, this performance is still commendable.

Toy Story 5 continues to dominate the box office with an impressive 2,703,000 fans, followed closely by Des Minions and Des Monstres, which have collectively attracted over 1,490,000 viewers. Backroom has also crossed the million mark, while Permis de détruire, featuring Kad Merad, has drawn only 131,000 curious attendees. Disclosure Day has reached the million milestone as well, but it could have performed significantly better.

Next Wednesday marks the highly anticipated release of L'Odyssée de Nolan, with early reviews suggesting it could overshadow previous controversies. The film promises a blend of horror and epic spectacle, although access to the Imax 70mm format will be limited to mostly Paris audiences.
