Before heading to work, Aurore unofficially asks Roxane to trace the sender of a threatening message she received the day before. At the police station, Roxane informs her that the message originated from a prepaid number located in Sète, but the sender could be anyone. Aurore then confides in her colleague that she had a few encounters with Lucas during her break from William, who remains unaware and would likely react poorly if he found out.

Suspecting Adélaïde of attempting to blackmail her to halt the investigation into Lucas's death, Aurore summons her again, making it clear that she would destroy Adélaïde's life if she interfered with hers. However, Adélaïde appears completely bewildered by the confrontation.
