Exploring Akane's Nourishing Masks
Discover the benefits of Akane's Rose Granité and Orange Miellé masks, designed for exfoliation and nourishment. Learn about their natural ingredients and application tips.

Greetings to everyone! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. Today, I want to share my thoughts on two exceptional masks from the brand Akane, which I purchased several months ago but haven't discussed until now.
Do you know the Akane brand? What products do you use? I’d love to hear your experiences in the comments! 😊
About Akane
Last June, I introduced this brand while discussing the Akane cleansing and hydrating routine.
To recap, Akane 🍎 is 100% made in France, 100% organic, additive-free, and all fragrances are derived from natural sources. The brand is also cruelty-free, with no animal testing involved. Furthermore, their packaging is recyclable and made from recycled materials, and the containers are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
Akane offers a variety of products tailored for different skincare needs, including moisturizers, anti-aging treatments, scrubs, makeup removers, masks, body care, and hand treatments.
The Masks
In one of the initial Nuooboxes, I received the Orange Miellé mask. During a subsequent order from the Nuoo website, I decided to also purchase the Rose Granité mask along with the cleansing and hydrating routine. Since then, the brand has updated its packaging and product names.
Rose Granité Mask
This dual-action mask serves as both a mask and a scrub. It exfoliates and enhances the skin’s radiance.
Ingredients: Apple seeds, pink clay, and Akane apple.
Application: Use it twice a week as a mask all over the face for about 5 minutes, then rinse. Alternatively, it can be applied as a scrub without any waiting time, rinsing with lukewarm water.
Personally, I prefer using it primarily as a mask, as it effectively purifies the skin and leaves a refreshing sensation. The scent is delightful, reminiscent of candy. I apply it using a silicone-tipped brush from Avril for ease and enhanced sensory experience.
I recommend this product if you’re looking for a versatile 2-in-1 option that acts as both a mask and an exfoliant, catering to your current skincare needs. It is suitable for all skin types.
Note that the product has been renamed: it is now called the Granité Radiance Scrub.
Orange Miellé Mask
This mask is designed for dry skin, providing intense nourishment.
Ingredients: Apricot, honey, carrot, and Akane apple.
Application: Apply twice a week all over the face, leaving it on for 10 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. A Konjac sponge can be used for rinsing.
I use this mask occasionally, as it is more suitable for dry skin. My skin does not often require such deep nourishment, but I reach for it when I feel tightness. The texture resembles honey and spreads easily across the face. Again, I utilize the silicone-tipped brush to ensure smooth application.
I would recommend this mask for anyone experiencing tightness in their skin or seeking comfort during colder seasons (fall/winter).
Note that this product has also changed its name and is now called the Anti-Tightness Honey Mask.
Feel free to share in the comments what facial masks you use! If you missed the last article, here it is: The Nuoobox – September 2021.
