ARTE will air it starting June 26.

Rodrigo Sorogoyen · Cinema · ARTE, June 3 Antoine and Olga leave France for a small village in Galicia, where they cultivate the land and restore houses. Their opposition to a wind farm puts them at odds with an angry neighbor. Rodrigo Sorogoyen directs this thriller with a western flair, featuring Denis Ménochet, Marina Foïs, and Luis Zahera. The film won the César for Best Foreign Film in 2023. ARTE will broadcast it on June 3.

Music Queer

Documentary Series · ARTE, starting June 10 Emerging in France around the turn of the millennium, electro dance has experienced various phases, from clubs to the street, and then to its peak at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games. Through dancer Brandon Masele, known as Miel, filmmakers Loïc Phil and Marianne Getti recount this collective journey. ARTE will air it starting June 10.

The month also features Martin Scorsese's "Cape Fear" with Robert De Niro and Nick Nolte (June 14), Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal's "They Shot the Piano Player" focused on bossa nova (June 21), Élise Girard's "Sidonie au Japon" starring Isabelle Huppert (June 17), and Stéphanie Di Giusto's "Rosalie" featuring Nadia Tereszkiewicz and Benoît Magimel (June 24). Series fans can look forward to the return of Sally Wainwright's "Happy Valley" on June 4, led by Sarah Lancashire.
