True to its name, a Post calendar allows enthusiasts to maintain the Christmas cheer while counting down to the New Year. This year, beauty lovers had the option of choosing between the Sephora Collection and Yves Rocher's offering. I chose Yves Rocher’s calendar, as it was the first cosmetics brand I ever tried and one that has held a special place in my heart since I began my blogging journey.

Despite not having purchased from them in years, this calendar provides the perfect opportunity to rediscover the brand. Priced at €29.95, it boasts a value of €66.10, making it an enticing option.

Packaging The packaging of this calendar is truly festive, featuring a striking gold design against a deep blue background. It aligns beautifully with their Christmas collection.

The calendar's numbers are prominently displayed at the top, surrounded by warm hues and golden accents, evoking the image of a starry sky above treetops.

What sets this calendar apart is its unique polygonal design that opens to reveal individual boxes. Each box features an illustration of its contents on one side and a description along with the ingredients on the other.

Additionally, the exterior is adorned with golden illustrations of cosmetic products, enhanced by whimsical golden dots that create a magical effect.

Contents Day 25 I am quite familiar with Yves Rocher's nail polishes, especially since they revamped their packaging in 2015. While the packaging remains consistent, the formula has shifted to a more eco-friendly version. The shade "Black Cherry" is a favorite of mine, a deep red perfect for daily wear. Price: €6.50.

Day 26 I used to exclusively use the brand's individual eyeshadows. While the packaging has changed, the product quantity remains the same. The eyeshadows have always been well-pigmented, and I enjoy applying them with my fingers. The shade "Sparkling Copper" is a lovely hue that is easy to wear on its own. Price: €9.90.

Day 27 It's been years since I last used a kohl pencil, reminding me of my middle school days! This black pencil is making a comeback, particularly as a liner along the upper lash line. Although it's a travel size, the amount is quite sufficient. Price: €4.90 for full size.

Day 28 I had never tried the brand's blushes before, but this one in "Capucine Rose" is stunning. Unfortunately, I found it lacking in pigmentation, requiring a heavy hand for application. Price: €13.90.

Day 29 Next up is the Feel Stronger mascara, packaged in the festive colors of the Christmas collection. Its fiber brush, reminiscent of Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara, effectively adds volume and length to lashes. While it does its job, I may not repurchase it. Price: €13.95.

Day 30 This liquid highlighter from the Christmas collection did not impress me. As someone who isn't accustomed to liquid highlighters, I found it more glittery than illuminating, leaving a less-than-natural finish on the face. Perhaps it would work better on the décolletage. Price: €5.95.

Day 31 Finally, we conclude the year with the Satin Effect Lipstick in "Luminous Red." I have long loved Yves Rocher lipsticks, and this one brings back the brand's signature scent. The application is delightful, and it’s a beautiful, comfortable red to wear. Price: €15.90.

This simple makeup features a light kohl liner applied only to the outer corner, along with a touch of the liquid highlighter on the nose and cheekbones—despite my reservations about the outcome. Overall, the final look is harmonious, with the shades complementing each other beautifully.

My Opinion Despite a couple of disappointments, I am quite pleased with the contents of this calendar. The New Year calendar allows for a beautiful end to the year, pun intended! It's worth noting that the stated value does not account for the travel size products. In summary, I highly recommend this "Post" calendar if the brand decides to offer another in 2021.
