Morgan Spector has officially been cast as Robert Langdon in a new sequel series for Netflix, based on the popular works of Dan Brown. This untitled series draws inspiration from Brown's latest novel, "The Secret of Secrets," and continues the legacy of the iconic character first introduced in "The Da Vinci Code."
In this upcoming project, Spector's character, the symbologist Robert Langdon, will face ancient forces and race against time to locate a missing scientist, portrayed by Rebecca Hall, along with her groundbreaking manuscript. This manuscript is said to contain revelations that could transform humanity's understanding of the mind forever.
Carlton Cuse, the co-creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer of the series, praised Spector's talent, stating, "Morgan is a truly wonderful actor whose work is always marked by intelligence, thoughtfulness, and humanity. He is a perfect fit for Robert Langdon—a brilliant academic whose curiosity, intellect, and intellect are the tools of his trade."
Dan Brown's original novel, "The Da Vinci Code," was released in 2003 and has since sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The book was adapted into a film in 2006, featuring Tom Hanks in the lead role.
