Created by Megan Park, the series follows Annie Jacobson (played by Ella Rubin), a teenager whose life changes dramatically when she discovers that her maternal grandfather has left her an island in Muskoka, Canada. With little knowledge of her mother, who passed away during her childhood, Annie journeys to Sterling Point to uncover more about her family history. She is also on a quest to solve the mystery surrounding the enigmatic "she" mentioned in her grandfather's last letter.

Throughout her summer, Annie not only makes new friends and experiences her first romances but also learns that her family story is far more intricate than she ever anticipated.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Son Makes a Brief Appearance

While Sterling Point primarily focuses on Annie's adventures, it also highlights the adult characters, particularly Joe (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is Goldie's childhood sweetheart. Interestingly, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's son makes a fleeting appearance in the series.

If you pause episode 7 at the 6-minute and 46-second mark, you will indeed see Augustus "Gus" Morgan, the son of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton, who is known for her role in One Tree Hill. The young actor portrays the son of one of Joe's clients who visits the marina to arrange a boat rental.

This isn't Gus Morgan's first time sharing the screen with his father. In 2021, he made a brief appearance in The Walking Dead, where Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Negan, and Gus took on the role of a zombie.
