Production for the second season of Young Sherlock is currently underway in Italy, having commenced in May 2026. According to a report from Deadline, the cast has been bolstered with several well-known actors from popular series such as Outlander and Game of Thrones.
New Additions to the Cast The main cast now includes Olivia Williams, Sophie Skelton, Indira Varma, and Aidan Gillen. However, specific details regarding their respective characters have yet to be revealed.
Returning to the series are Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Dónal Finn, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons, and Holly Cattle. Notably absent from the upcoming season will be Joseph Fiennes and Zine Tseng.
