The cast of HBO's series "Task" is expanding for its upcoming second season. According to Deadline, several new actors have been signed on as production moves forward.
In this season, which is currently in pre-production, the storyline will focus on Tom Brandis, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, as he takes charge of a new task force.
Joining the cast are Tim Blake Nelson, Jharrel Jerome, Brían F. O'Byrne, Andrew Russel, Kevin Dunn, and Bethlehem Million. Nelson will play Denny Coughlin, a street-smart police officer recruited for Tom Brandis' task force. Jerome will appear as Jordan Barnes, the son of Eddie Barnes. O'Byrne takes on the role of Charlie Boylan, a retired DEA agent who acts as a mentor to Eddie Barnes. Million will portray Lisa Barnes, the daughter of Eddie Barnes. Dunn will play Vince Runyan, a tough FBI agent and the superior of Tom Brandis. Russel will reprise his role as Ethan Brandis, the son of Tom Brandis.
