Review of Colors by Llarowe's "Blonde Ambition" Nail Polish

Hello everyone!

I had intended to share this review sooner, but life got in the way. Better late than never, right? Exciting news: in two weeks, I will finally have my long-awaited camera! This means the quality of my images will definitely improve, especially once I get my macro lens.

Now, let’s dive into the nail polish!

I was particularly eager to try "Blonde Ambition" from Colors by Llarowe. It’s my first true holographic polish and also my first from this brand.

The polish is incredibly vibrant and colorful.

Unfortunately, the image turned out a bit bright; the sun was quite strong!

Let’s talk about the polish itself. I applied two coats of "54 Dream on" by Essence as a base, which I had painted on the day before. Thus, I simply applied "Blonde Ambition" over it. The application was fantastic, and I used two coats. While one coat would have sufficed with the base underneath, the holographic effect was much more pronounced with two layers. The drying time was impressively quick; within about five minutes, both coats were dry enough for me to resume my daily activities. A huge thumbs up for that—I've never experienced a polish drying this fast! It lasted a full five days before the tip wear became noticeable, which is another significant advantage.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this polish! There are truly no negatives to this beauty.

Let the pictures do the talking.

This is how it looked after one coat—still quite lovely!

...but in the sunlight, it’s absolutely stunning! Apologies for the slightly blurry photo...

...this picture was taken on the fifth day, hence the tip wear. However, it turned out sharper than the previous one.

...this image is also from day five. I’m not sure why I didn’t think of using the macro lens sooner!

This shot was taken in daylight but in the shade, making the polish look quite understated.

I hope you enjoyed the review! Please excuse the occasionally poor-quality images; I will update the post once my camera arrives.

Until next time,

Carry
